The cloning procedure
Cloning a project
You can clone the project on:
- The same customer
- On another customer

By default the clone project incorporates descriptive elements from the sources and is titled the same wording besides which the system places "(copy)".
A succession of pop ups enable you to declare what to retain from the source case or not. Items are selected by ticking the checkboxes.
Resumption of related cases
You can resume all or part of the cases related to the source project, keeping them unchanged or by directly editing the main components (names, dates).

Recovery of assigned employees
You can resume all or part of the employees assigned to the cloned cases. The system enables you to keep exactly the same or to change assignments (DR, dates, etc).

Recovery of assigned teams/BU
You can resume the BU and teams assigned to cloned cases. The system enables you to keep exactly the same or to change assignments (DR, dates, etc).

Recovery of purchases
You can resume the purchases charged to cloned cases.

Recovery of invoicing due dates
You can resume all or part of the scheduled due dates in the cloned cases. Changes in terms of amount, wording or dates are also available.

Finalisation and Conclusion
It is important to note that the cloned project only resumes open cases: even if the sources are cases at "launched" status.
Cloning a case
The source case is not related to a project
You can clone the case on:
- The same project: the case will be created in the same project for the same customer
- Another project: the case can be created on any other project for any other customer
- The same customer: The new case will be cloned on the same customer without a project
- Another customer: The new case will be cloned on another customer without a project

Finalisation and Conclusion
It is important to note that any case obtained by cloning must be created in open status: even if the source case is at "launched" status.
