The Gantt Chart can create dependencies between all items of the same level, that is to say:
- Between projects
- Between Contracts, or between a contract and a Down payment/Due Date not related to a contract, they are displayed at the same level as Contracts.
- Between all 3rd level items (service deliverable, due dates)
Different types of dependencies can be created in the Gantt Chart.
START-START DEPENDENCIES
The dependent task (B) cannot begin whilst the task on which it depends (A) has not started.
The dependent task can begin at any time, once the task on which it depends has started. Warning: the start-start connection does not require that both tasks start at the same time.
START-END DEPENDENCIES
The dependent task (B) cannot end whilst the task on which it depends (A) has not started.
The dependent task can end at any time, once the task on which it depends has started. Warning: the start-end connection does not require that the dependent task ends when the task on which it depends starts.
END-END DEPENDENCIES
The dependent task (B) cannot end whilst the task on which it depends (A) has not ended.
The dependent task can end at any time, once the task on which it depends has ended. The end to end connection does not require that the two tasks end simultaneously.
END-START DEPENDENCIES
The dependent task (B) cannot start whilst the task on which it depends (A) has not ended.
