Classes

Configuration > Billing > Classes

Classes are configurable, multi-companies (common to all companies) and will allow to group accounts by type.

The properties of a class are:

  • Designation 
  • Description 
  • Suspense account : if the checkbox is checked, this allows the configuration of certain specific accounts, especially for the accounting entries of the expenses paid by the company, Proforma Invoices...
  • Type : the type of the class is used to determine the object that can be attached to the accounts of this class (All / Customer / Products / collected VAT / Supplier / Staff / Costs / Withholding tax / deductible VAT). Depending on its class, the Types available for an account may be limited.
  • Companies : the choice of the company makes it possible to choose the companies to which the classes are attached (by default, they are all checked). Accounts can be defined at the company level, but the configuration can be expanded to several.
